The Peat-Fire Flame at the Seaside Highland Games, Ventura • Colyn Fischer judges the annual California Scottish Fiddling competition, held under the aegis of Scottish F.I.R.E. This is the only competition in California, and the winner is eligible to go to the Nationals! Trophies and cash prizes in every category.
• The Peat-Fire Flame plays for listening and dancing on the Saturday evening.
• Colyn teaches a fiddle workshop on Sunday morning.
